Brief Description of the Situation The situation of the Time Pressure is undertaken in this description which is depicted to be aiming at the negative consequences of the objectives. When the pressure is being created by an individual, then it is depicted to be hampering the time. The time pressure is defined as elements in the project management which are being faced by all the managers, teams and the other members who are involved in the project. Reflection of how you are Engaged in the Situation The completion of the project on time was a great challenge for me and for that I implemented strategies to accomplish the project. The team members were allocated with specified jobs and motivated towards their goals. The most important thing was that I engaged myself in different tasks and solved the issued that were faced by the team members. The goals were set, and it was clearly communicated to my team members. I had allocated funds and resources as per the requirement for achieving the goals. I was in the situation that I had to put some pressure on my team members (Maltzman and Shirley, 2011). The first thing that I carried out was planning and appropriate allocation of the resources. I established the checkpoints to examine whether the project is carried out on the given schedule. I had also implemented other strategies to deal with other circumstances such as natural calamities and internal conflicts. It was a challenge for me to manage the entire situation as well as carryi ng out the activities as per the requirement. The errors were rectified and determined with different tools and techniques. The competition of project on time creates a mental pressure which is difficult to deal with (Maylor, 2010). Experiences and Learning The experience improved by skills, knowledge, and capabilities. The most important thing that I learned was how to work in pressure time as well as manage all the processes. The experience enhanced my confidence level, and my team members were very satisfied with the completion of the project on time. I learned that negative experience gives us a good lesson of how to cope up with the situations. In a project, the most important thing is the allocation of the resources in an appropriate manner and management of all the team members (Patel, 2008). The team members were motivated which was also very much important, and the goals were clearly defined to them. The schedule was set, and it was strictly defined that no deadlines should be missed out. It helped me to become a good leader and also enhanced my leader skills and knowledge. Conclusion The project management is one of the most important aspects of the organizations as the organizations use to venture several projects to gain efficiency and to improve the productivity and profitability of the organization. However, to conduct a project completely surrenders to the bookish theories and principles of the project management are not a wise decision for the project team, especially the project manager (Verzuh, 2003). The project manager has to look after the entire aspects of the undertaken project and as per the need and features the project management principles should be applied.
